A higher rating means better opportunities
Your ShiftRx rating isn't just a number… it's your reputation. Facilities use it to decide who gets the best shifts, who gets invited back, and who makes their preferred provider list. The higher your score, the more you earn.
How your score works
Your rating is built from four areas, each counting equally toward your overall score. New providers start at 87.5 out of 100, which gives you a solid foundation to build from.

Three of these areas work like a report card. You start at 100 and keep it there by doing what you've committed to do. Show up to your shifts, arrive on time, complete your tasks, and give facilities a reason to recommend you. As long as you're consistent, these scores stay high.

The fourth area, Trusted Provider, works differently. Instead of protecting a score, you're building one. This is your bonus category. It grows every time a facility rehires you or adds you to their preferred list. The more relationships you build, the higher it climbs. Think of it as your reputation compounding over time.
What you can control
The biggest factors are the ones you'd expect: showing up and doing great work.
If you need to cancel a shift, do it as early as possible. Canceling two weeks out barely moves the needle. Canceling the day before (or not showing up at all) has a much bigger impact. Life happens, but how you handle it matters.
Beyond that, focus on being someone facilities want to work with again. When they request you back, your Trusted Provider score rises. When they add you to their preferred list, it rises again. Over time, this is what separates good providers from great ones.

Why it matters
Facilities filter by rating when they're looking to fill shifts, especially the high-paying ones. A strong score means you're more likely to see those opportunities first, get invited before shifts hit the public board, and land on more preferred provider lists.
